Coronavirus has affected all of our lives and will continue to for another 3o days. We now have all online classes, stay at home order in affect, grocery stores close and can only allow people 10 at a time. Now they say men are most likely to contract corona. Life has been crazy these last couple of days. Our death tolls have been rising and Italy has the highest.

There is toilet paper shortages in America and now people are having trouble finding surgical masks for protection against the virus. Online classes are really boring and I am not a fan of. We have to stay home now and with stand the most boring stay-cation ever. The gym is closed and I had to make a home gym.

It’s been a wild couple of days living under coronavirus. We all should just be cautious and wash our hands. The more we practice social distancing the more we can get back to normal life. I miss seeing my friends and going to weights in the morning with my teammates. Having my spring season being cancelled and not being able to go back to school is sad but it is for the best.

Due to the Coronavirus and Americans not being able to go back to work, The US government is thinking of ideas to pay Americans who cannot work. The treasury department will is asking congress for $500 billion in direct payout for taxpayers. This is meant to help during the coronavirus pandemic. This pandemic has damaged the economy. The Dow has been the lowest it has been since 1987.

Italy has had the highest death rates out of all the countries affected by corona. Wuhan is the city in China where experts believe the disease originated from. All countries have taken action in fighting the coronavirus. People who have been believed to have been exposed to the virus have been placed in a 2 day quarantine. Cities have been on lockdown.

We had our spring break extended one week and the rest of the semester is being continued online. The bars and restaurants have all been closed in Kansas city to curve the spread of the virus. Restaurants are only drive through and pick up. There cannot be more than 10 people in a room and we have to practice social distancing now to stop the spread.

On this day another American tragedy has struck. There has been another active shooter scenario in Milwaukee. The shooter killed 5 people and ended with taking his own life at the end of the madness. The shooter was an active employee for Coors who was responsible for the incident. The killers motive is unknown and the victims names have not been released.

America in the past has had many active shooter tragedies. This has just been the most recent. Many schools and companies have been training more and practicing for shooter scenarios to avoid problems like these. Many people believe that we should stricter gun regulations and or to not sell military style guns. Such as assault rifles.

We should just check on one another to see if we are all okay and mentally healthy. We need to be friendlier to one another and take care of our mental health. We need stricter laws to lesser the chance of people like this man getting a gun in his hands. Under the second amendment we have the right to bare arms. But we need to be more responsible with our decisions.

We should all pay attention to politics and keep up on what is going on. If we don’t keep up we can end in tragedy. We have to keep in mind our future and what is best for us.

We can continue with terrible presidents if we all do not go out and vote. And not understand the repercussions for not voting. If we want change we have to do something for it to change and make a difference for ourselves. Our generation is not very active in the voting polls and we should change that.

The Missouri primary is march 1oth. We should attend and vote to make a change within our country. Many things are happening in the world that we cannot change. But, with picking our president we can change that for the best.

Donald Trump had promised a giant wall in the southern border and it has been very controversial and many people have mixed emotions on the wall. This to me is important to be aware of and an important day in history. It is offensive to Native American Tribes who are protected by the government. President Trump had been impeached and under investigation for many things. And now he is doing everything he can to build his border wall. He disrespected Native Americans by building this and going through a sacred burial. We need to stop acts like this and respect people for who they are. After two month of the impeachment process Trump was found not guilty of two articles. The senate voted to acquit Trump on the two articles of impeachment that will give Trump hope for his presidential race in 2020. Senator Mitt Romney found the president guilty of abuse of power, becoming the first senator in US history to vote to remove the president from office as the same party as the president.

The third senate impeachment trial ended on Wednesday with the Democrats falling to a 53-47 vote to impeach Donald Trump from office. Mitt Romney the only republican to vote to remove Trump from office. Mitt Romney explained ” this was the hardest decision I have faced in my life.” The impeachment surprisingly ended with Trump not being removed from office.

Personally I wanted Trump removed from office. It would have been exciting and a game changer to see Trump removed from office. I’m not going to say my political views but, Nancy Pelosi is awesome for ripping apart his papers on live TV. Donald Trump later tweeted ” Victory on the impeachment hoax.” He believes everything is a hoax, even climate change.

During January 29th the World Health Organization called the outbreak of coronavirus in China a world health emergency. And worried that that the virus could spread into other countries. The conclusion came from the CDC reported the first case of human to human transmission of the virus in the US. A woman who traveled to China infected her husband. Confirmed cases in China have topped 8,000.

Cruise ship passengers were allowed to leave after testing negative for the virus and testing positive for the flu. The carnival operator said that that the Italian health authorities had diagnosed her with the flu. China had built new hospitals in ten days to combat the disease. China’s attempt to contain the disease was an aggressive tactic. The CDC is still trying to figure out how the disease is transferred.

Many countries have taken immediate effect on the incident and had already started to make accommodations to combat the disease. The US and British airways have cancelled flights to the country. Hong Kong has alerted the world of shortages on surgical masks and are struggling to supply masks to the people. Many countries including the US had taken precautionary measures to stop the spread of the virus.

During the impeachment process a lot of evidence was posted online such as twitter and other social media platforms. Marsha Blackburn claimed Vidman a Ukraine expert had leaked the July 25 phone call, she had also tweeted that Vidman ” wanted to take out Trump”. Vidman’ s attorney called this “slander” earlier that night. Senator Marsha Blackburn was criticized by Vidman’ s attorney over her tweets.

The Impeachment process was broadcasted everywhere, mostly on social media platforms for me. Twitter has kept up on the trial and updating me on what is happening, I did not really watch the news to keep up with the impeachment trail. A lot of evidence I believe was put on Twitter and was used in court.

Through different media platforms, News outlets, and political figures would inform the public about the trail and what was happening or going on. The race for second place is a two point difference making it very interesting.
