Due to the Coronavirus and Americans not being able to go back to work, The US government is thinking of ideas to pay Americans who cannot work. The treasury department will is asking congress for $500 billion in direct payout for taxpayers. This is meant to help during the coronavirus pandemic. This pandemic has damaged the economy. The Dow has been the lowest it has been since 1987.
Italy has had the highest death rates out of all the countries affected by corona. Wuhan is the city in China where experts believe the disease originated from. All countries have taken action in fighting the coronavirus. People who have been believed to have been exposed to the virus have been placed in a 2 day quarantine. Cities have been on lockdown.
We had our spring break extended one week and the rest of the semester is being continued online. The bars and restaurants have all been closed in Kansas city to curve the spread of the virus. Restaurants are only drive through and pick up. There cannot be more than 10 people in a room and we have to practice social distancing now to stop the spread.
