Donald Trump had promised a giant wall in the southern border and it has been very controversial and many people have mixed emotions on the wall. Now there is even more controversy behind it with the wall cutting through a sacred Native American site. The Trump administration has used waivers to bypass protection laws to finish building his wall. This brings more attention and a bad look for Donald Trump.
This to me is important to be aware of and an important day in history. It is offensive to Native American Tribes who are protected by the government. Destroying this site will change Native Americans lives forever. They’re source of natural spring water has been destroyed. The tribes found it very offensive on the behalf of the Trump administration.
President Trump had been impeached and under investigation for many things. And now he is doing everything he can to build his border wall. He disrespected Native Americans by building this and going through a sacred burial. We need to stop acts like this and respect people for who they are. In attempts to stop drug smuggling through the park the Trump administration decided to build through the national park.
