During January 29th the World Health Organization called the outbreak of coronavirus in China a world health emergency. And worried that that the virus could spread into other countries. The conclusion came from the CDC reported the first case of human to human transmission of the virus in the US. A woman who traveled to China infected her husband. Confirmed cases in China have topped 8,000.
Cruise ship passengers were allowed to leave after testing negative for the virus and testing positive for the flu. The carnival operator said that that the Italian health authorities had diagnosed her with the flu. China had built new hospitals in ten days to combat the disease.
